WebnoteHappy - bookmarking done right

WebnoteHappy is a new web site tagging and annotating app for Mac OS X that helps you organize, bookmark, and make notes about the web pages that matter to you.

Each web page can be personalized with notes and tags as you bookmark it, creating a "webnote". The fast integrated search makes it easy to find your webnotes again. Organize your webnotes with folders and smart folders.

"WebnoteHappy. This is the bookmark manager for Mac OS X that I have so been waiting for." - Matt Henderson, matt.makalumedia.com

File your webnotes in folders. Navigate your tags via the Tag Browser. Search your webnotes - here's the books I to buy from amazon.com.

Integrates seamlessly into your workflow

WebnoteHappy is browser-independent, so you can create webnotes from within any browser on Mac OS X via the global hot key or bookmarklet. Tag and add notes to your Firefox, Safari, or OmniWeb bookmarks by importing them. WebnoteHappy also interoperates with NetNewsWire, letting you tag and add notes to items in RSS feeds.

New: Hot key support for Opera and DEVONagent.

New: Quickly add webnotes with a hot key and Growl will report back when they are added.

New: Make the fonts small to minimize the screen space needed or enlarge the fonts for easier reading.

Manage your del.icio.us bookmarks

You can have a native Mac interface to your del.icio.us bookmarks after importing them into WebnoteHappy. Navigate your tags with the integrated tag browser. Changes to shared webnotes are automatically reflected on del.icio.us. Optionally update from del.icio.us periodically. Choose whether new webnotes should be shared publicly to del.icio.us, saved privately to del.icio.us or kept local.
